University, Uncen abbreviated, is a public university in Jayapura, Indonesia, established on 10 November 1962. Rector in 2006 was Prof.. Dr. Balthasar Kambuaya, MBA.

This faculty has a long history. Beginning with the establishment of state administration and the Department of Trade Management Department soon after the foundation UNCEN on 10 November 1962, which was then integrated into FHKK Programs oversees three, namely:

Legal.
Constitutional.
Trade Management.



In 1980, FHKK converted into FIHES (Sciences Faculty of Law, Economics, and Social) is marked by the birth of Anthropology. Furthermore, FIHES separated into three Faculties based Kepmendikbud Number: 0576/O/1983, namely:
FISIP that foster Science Studies Program and the State Administration of Social Anthropology Studies Program.
Faculty of Law which establish the Law.
Fostering economic Faculty Study Program Management and Development Studies.

Studies Program at all levels of S1, in addition to educating students and the transfer of regular, well organized Extension Program in cooperation with the Government District in Papua. International Relations is one of the new courses at the university cendrawasi (Social Politics), and only a few lecturers in this saja.apakah standards create a study program?

Curriculum



In order to carry out academic and professional education programs, FISIP UNCEN develop core curriculum and institutional based Kepmendiknas No. 232/U/2000. Institutional curriculum includes courses with the number of credits a local charge between 30-40% (S1) and between 40-60% (D3) is determined after considering the market demands and ecological factors of development in Papua. The curriculum consists of group composition: MPK (Personality Development), MKK (Scientific and Skills), MKB (Skills Work), MPB (Behavior at Work) and MBB (Berkehidupan societal).

Competency graduates

Graduates FISIP kompotensi UNCEN have in terms of:
Mastery and broaden the basis of scientific excellence kompotensi kompotitif / comparative.

Mastery of skill competencies in the community work.
Mastery of appropriate work behaviors and cultural values of indigenous customs and arrangements applicable national law the community.
Mastery of grammar association with scientific integrity and high moral.

Support Units



FISIP UNCEN had Lap. Computers, Lap Government, Administarasi Lap, Lap Anthropology (Museum), and Lap. Social and Political Studies and Development. Library Collection Mini is available in the Department of Administrative Sciences Department of Anthropology da. As Media scientific expression for Lecturers and Students, Journal of Social and Political been established since Year 2004, and will soon follow Bulletin Campus Student initiated by Sanat.

Location of lectures

Diselenggrakan Education Program on the campus of Camp Walker Road FISIP UNCEN Waena for regular students while in college Abepura focused and Extension Diploma Program. In addition, educational programs diselenggrakan also several towns outside Jayapura on the cooperation with Pemerinta District in Papua.
International Relations Study Program until today do not have room for teaching and learning facilities and equipment that comfort, so that the students had transferred to the Hall FISIP Uncen room for learning and teaching until recently.
